Equilibria
Theme Explanation:
Our initial idea was a puzzle game involving scaling the player's size. In the end, we felt this idea might be too generic and decided to go the LITERAL route.
'Scale' becomes a literal SCALE.
'Scale' can also means size, size means WEIGHT.
With this in mind, we came up with a unique tower defence game involving a LITERAL Scale!
Controls:
WASD - Move Camera
Scroll Wheel - Zoom Camera
ESC - Pause Game
Hold Tab - Show Effects List
Hover Over Character Icon - Show character detail
Press & Hold LMB Over Character Icon - Upgrade character
Features:
- Includes a TUTORIAL that will ease players into the game!
- 4 DIFFERENT Characters to spawn, each having UNIQUE UPGRADES & ABILITIES!
- UNIQUE SCALE MECHANIC that encourages strategic gameplay!
- A MYSTERIOUS ENEMY at the FINAL LEVEL!
AND MANY MORE...
Made by 12 VERY sleep deprived students from Singapore!

Great game and a nice spin on the tower defense genre. A few comments:
1. The tooltip UI for the units can be better placed/scaled such that it doesn't obscure the gameplay.
2. Shortcut keys (1, 2, 3 etc.) for the units available would be nice.
3. Difficulty spike from Level 1 to 2 is a bit steep... but it could just be me.
Not too shabby for 12 sleep-deprived students.
I love this take on the prompt, and also the reverse tower defense!! It's reminding me of some nostalgic mobile games from my childhood (cough Battle Cats). I could get sucked into playing this for sure. Love the pixel art and the FANTASTIC sound design. The sounds are sounding!!!
